Scheduled cleaning of ice makers in employee break rooms

Handyman Kota provides regular maintenance for a number of national facility management companies, one of which is contracted by Kohl’s store locations throughout the upper Midwest for regular cleaning of ice makers in their employee break rooms.

The process follows a protocol provided by the facility management company and Follett, the ice maker manufacturer. Depending on the model of the ice maker, scheduled cleaning and maintenance takes about 90 minutes and is performed about every six months. Cleaning generates visible results in terms of the debris flushed from the ice makers.
