Metcalf Archaeological is “digging” their new storage area access
Metcalf Archaeological’s storage area once required staff to exit the office and trek about 50 yards around the back of the building — not an ideal situation in the best of weather; even less so at 15 below zero. Handyman Kota cut a new access opening from the office space to the storage area and installed a door that the customer had on hand. Retrieving storage items now is as simple as twisting a handle and walking a few steps in climate-controlled comfort.

Panda Express patio renovation
Panda Express decided to remove patio seating at its location and contracted with Handyman Kota to perform demolition and removal of all equipment and material, including an industrial-strength patio umbrella, bench and table seating, and planters with an automated watering system. The patio renovation also required patching and repair of the concrete.
The 12’ wide year-round umbrella weighed close to 500 lbs. thanks to a support structure with 3/4” thick plate steel. Removal of the fixed patio furniture and equipment required filling holes in the concrete with vinyl cement patch to meet the level of the overall patio. All material was hauled away for donation to Habitat for Humanity ReStore and the local landfill.
